On the other hand, performance assessment often ends up as a ritual without any value addition. In today’s rapidly changing work environment, the old methods of performance assessment are proving to be ineffective.
• Outcome – This workshop will bring about changes in the way performance appraisals are conducted in organisations.
• Content of the programme – Brief exposure to salient aspects of organisational behaviour, the need for performance assessment, evolution of performance appraisal, The usual process of performance appraisals and problems involved, KRAs and KPAs, emerging methods and tools of performance appraisal, identifying performance parameters, hurdles in objective performance evaluation, aligning performance appraisal with organisational objectives, how to face the appraisee as an appraiser, counselling and mentoring of appraisee, follow-up and feedback etc.
